GSC Posts Important Game Editor Information Posted @ 3:59 PM || Angel ET
GSC has graciously posted in our General Discussions Forum. If you have any questions please post in their thread. I've taken the liberty of copying their post here in the news. They wrote: As you may know, Cossacks scenario editor doesn’t allow you to change graphics, unit parameters, sounds, etc. In other words you can create missions, historical battles of any difficulty but utilizing the Cossacks and Add-on set of resources only. This is done for the single purpose of preserving the multiplayer game mode. If the players have different resources this will be impossible to connect each other over a network.
At the same time we receive lots of mail from the gamers willing to make MODs. Therefore, we need to know how many people want to make MODS and what possibilities you’d like to have in the MOD editor. Send your replies to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Additionally, and many thanks to Stefan Hertrich who has posted information necessary to participate in a special mapmaking project.
